Responsibilities:
By physical inspection, Quality Control Inspectors ensure products manufactured meet or exceed written product specifications and customer requirements.
Safety will be a top priority when performing this task.
The quality of our products is, in part, determined by the quality of our inspection process.
Quality Inspectors must maintain a clean and well-organized environment wherever they are working and will work with a sense of urgency to help maintain or increase productivity.
Inspection of all products manufactured, including customer supplied and purchased products or material Complete required inspection documents accurately and in a timely manner Complete all required testing on products manufactured Visually inspect, take measurements, and verify the accuracy according to drawings and details Use inspection equipment to ensure requirements have been met.

Inspectors must know how to use the tools and equipment related to this position, i.
e.
, tape measures, calipers, electronic thickness gauges, computers, calculators, levels, or other equipment.
Inspectors must be familiar with procedures, work instructions and materials used in the processes.
Inspectors must know how to conduct hydro, pressure, vacuum, heat cure and other tests as required.
Inspectors must complete NCR (Nonconformance Reporting) reports in EHS Insight as required.
(In-house training for EHS Insight, procedures, work instructions and testing equipment).
Factory environment (Inside and Outside), seasonal temperature changes Standing, walking, stooping, and bending up to 12 hours daily Working in confined space environments Lifting up to 50 lbs.
QUALITY REQUIREMENTS Conduct all inspections and testing with the goal of meeting product specifications and customer requirements.
Regularly conduct in-process (IP) inspections to ensure Procedures, work instructions, and lamination schedules are followed, and the correct materials are used.
Inspect for manufacturing defects and cosmetic issues.
Ensure layups on fittings, manways, ladder lugs, lifting lugs, etc.
are in conformance with documented specifications and /or meet company requirements.
Immediately report any quality issues arising from substandard material quality.
Ensure fittings, flanges, manways, ladders, lifting lugs, etc.
are in the correct orientation as indicated on the drawing.
This includes checking for levelness or offset degree orientation.
Check the quality of radii filled with resin putty prior to lamination.
Ensure projections are correct and when possible, visually watch to ensure correct prep processes are performed in areas where secondary bonding will occur.
